Gabrielle Dawn Schoeneweis Pronounced Dead

Gabrielle Schoeneweis, wife of Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Scott Schoeneweis was pronounced dead today Wednesday May 20th. According to authorities, Schoeneweis' 14 year old daughter had called the police when she found her mother passed out and unresponsive on the floor of their Fountain Hills, Arizona suburban home.

When deputies arrived it was already to late and they were unable to revive her. Mrs. Schoeneweis was pronounced dead on the scene at the young age of 39.

There were no initial signs of foul play, although, medical examiners will investigate before making an official statement.

Scott Schoeneweis was diagnosed with a life threatening disease, testicular cancer, but survived. The couple had just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary January of this year.
